After having had problems taking the bike on a train once to often (and having spent ~1 year looking at all kinds of folding bikes online), I bought a titanium trifold from jackbikesg. It's amazing. So I've been really happy with the titanium gravel bike (pick) and was looking into titanium folding bikes. First of all, let's take a look at the folding mechanism: There are essentially two kinds, "dual" fold (two hinges) and trifolds (three hinges). The dual fold bikes are most seen on some kinds of off-brand bikes and seem to be less common, most common being the Brompton style trifold with the back wheel swinging under the bike and the front weel and handlebar being folded in. The Choice was kind of obvious: the trifold design is just beautiful. It's a marvel of engineering and should hopefuly hold up well (Bromptons have been built using the same style for years). Now the thing is: A T-Line (Titanum) Brompton is REALLY Expensive, and it's not even fully titanium (the fork is carbon, this might be a plus or minus, really depends). Now I am willing to pay money for a bike, but there are limits... I looked around quite a bit and tbh. the titanium trifold from jackbiksg always came up again and was exactly what I was looking for. The Rack: It's got four small wheels which make rolling the bike around great, you do need to remeber extending the small extension which pulls out the wheel balancing the bike, but once again: It's been though of and it's working really well. Due to the small size of the wheels and the chainring configuration, 54 tooth front 11-29 back 16" wheels 32mm seatpost diameter (probably 31.6mm)
